Amazon Fresh is a grocery delivery service. It is a subsidiary of Amazon.com. The company is based in Seattle, WA. Amazon.com was founded in 1994 by Jeff Bezos. Jeff Bezos is the current Chairman, CEO, and President of the company. In 2017, Amazon announced the Amazon Fresh Pickup, which lets you shop online, reserve pickup times, and have groceries loaded in your car. Later that year, Amazon Fresh started selling meal kits.
Amazon Fresh is available in some metropolitan U.S. cities, Tokyo, Berlin, Hamburg, and Munich. Availability varies by location. Before signing up, you are able to enter your zip code to see if your area is covered by Amazon Fresh delivery. You can shop for groceries, whether frozen or not. You can also buy other pre-packaged grocery items as well. Additionally, health/beauty and household items are available as well. Once you have signed up, you are allowed to browse the tens of thousands of items that are available online.
Amazon Fresh is available exclusively for Amazon Prime members only. You can sign up for a 30-day free trial for Amazon Prime. Amazon Fresh is considered an Add-On and can be added to your Prime membership for $14.99 per month. If you are currently an Amazon Prime member, you will be able to enjoy the 30-day free trial to Amazon Fresh. Delivery charges may have incurred in deliveries. Currently, Amazon Fresh does not delivery to dorm rooms.
