Sprint is the fourth-largest mobile network operator in the United States. It was founded in 1986 by Cleyson Brown and Jacob Brown. Predecessors include SPC, GTE Sprint, US Sprint, Embarq, and Nextel Communications. The headquarters are based in Overland Park, KS. They currently serve 54 million customers, with service areas being in the United States, Puerto Rico, and the United States Virgin Islands. The Executive Chairman is Marcelo Claure. The Chief Executive Officer is Michel Combes. Sprint also owns several subsidiaries, including Boost Mobile, Virgin Mobile USA, and Open Mobile. SoftBank Group Corp owns 84% of Sprint Corporation. Sprint currently has over 4,500 brick and mortar retail stores across the United States.
Sprint offers three unlimited wireless plans. The Unlimited Basic plan includes unlimited talk, text, and 5GB of 4G LTE data, 500MB LTE of mobile hotspot, DVD-quality video streaming (480p), text and data in more than 200 worldwide destinations, and a Hulu subscription. It is $60 per month. Unlimited Plus is $70 per month and includes unlimited talk, text, and 10GB of data, text and data in more than 200 worldwide destinations, 50GB LTE of mobile hotspots, HD video streaming (1080p), as well as Hulu and Tidal subscriptions. Unlimited Premium is $80 per month and includes unlimited talk, text, and data, along with text and data in more than 200 worldwide destinations. It also includes full HD video streaming, 100GB LTE of mobile hotspot, and subscriptions to Amazon Prime, Hulu, Tidal, and Lookout. You can add up to four additional lines and receive discounts on those lines.
