About National Publishers Exchange
National Publishers Exchange, abbreviated NPE, is a magazine subscription service. The service is operated by the same offices that operate the National Magazine Exchange and is based in Largo, Florida with a satellite office near Houston, Texas. The company has been in business since 1985 and also operates a sweepstakes program known as the Million Dollar “Strike It Rich” Sweepstakes. NPE offers bundled magazine subscriptions sold through independent agents at discounted prices to consumers. Customers choose from a variety of magazines and bundle together a subscription package that they pay for monthly for a set period of time, generally 1-2 years but there are other options. The titles can be changed by the subscriber at their own discretion and choosing during the subscription period according to the company’s website.
Pricing is variable. Each customer chooses his or her own package and while the magazines are discounted by the publishers for this service, each magazine publisher will have its own cover price and discounted rate. The monthly price of a subscriber package will depend on how many magazines were chosen, which magazines were chosen, and the length of the subscription term with some additional discounts being offered for longer subscriptions. Payments may be made manually by check or card each month or set up to be automatically debited depending on the customer’s preferences. Subscriptions can be cancelled via talking to a representative or through an online form used to request a cancel and refund of the package. More information on how to cancel your NPE subscription package can be found on this page.
